Altit Valley is situated in Hunza, within the Northern Areas of Pakistan. Altit is a Tibetan word which means “ this side down.” History tells us that the people of Altit are known to belong to the white huns, although it is still much of a myth. The language spoken in this region is known as Bruchiski.
